K so Let me start by explaining why this trip was taking half way across the country; My Little sister Kylee is the most amazing soccer player, she has been playing soccer since she like 4 years old and has never stopped, injuries don't even hold her back. Last fall she made it official and signed with the University of Alabama's Women's Soccer team, it was so exciting because she was injured last year and she was nervous that no one would want her, but she was seriously mistaken!
We started the trip Thursday at 6 am, the reason why we were making the 30 hour trip was to take out my sister's jeep Curtis out to her since she had to be there a few days before for soccer practice. We drove all day until we reached Missouri, we were so excited to be in Missouri because we had to drive through the entire state of Nebraska and it was all corn and flat grounds, SO BORING! We got up the next morning and drove some more, seriously we drove so much that my sister Sydney and I were getting cabin fever. Luckily after all the day of driving we got to Alabama on Friday night.
We spent Saturday and Sunday in Alabama, moving my sister in, enjoying the campus, and the very small town. Then we left sunday night and drove to Memphis and spent the night there.
This is the exciting part... Monday was our busiest day there, we got up early and went to Graceland HOME OF ELVIS PRESLEY. It was way cool to see how he lived, it wasn't that big of a house but in the 60's it would have been a mansion. He only paid $100,000 in 1964 for the mansion and 6 acres of land. His house was covered in tacky colors and carpet, but it was cool to think that he had resided in the house so many years ago. We sadly did not get a chance to take the VIP tour through his airplanes and cars because we had to make it to St. Louis but if anyone ever gets a chance they should go see the property because it is great...

Then it was off to our next adventure in St. Louis...
We got a chance to see the St. Louis Arch, which was seriously SO tall, I got dizzy just trying to look at the top. Some people don't know (I didn't before I saw it), that there is a museum underneath the arch, you can go under and see the expedition of Louis and Clark, look at the expansion of western civilization, and also take a tram to the top of the arch. We however were way too nervous to go to the top, but it would have been cool to see the valley atop the St. Louis Arch.
Then... A TOPPER TO A GREAT DAY! I went to my very first MLB game ever and trust me it will not be my last. We went and saw the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Cincinnati reds at Busch Stadium. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, I can't even explain how great it was. The ambiance of everything was fantastic and the fans were so fun and kind. Our seats were just a few sections behind first base and really just yards away from first baseman Albert Pujols. I will never forget how great it was to be there, plus the Cardinals won!! WOOT WOOT 4-1..

Really the trip was so much fun and I saw things that I may never be able to see again so it was great, plus some good family bonding time!
