Two years ago I got a chance to venture down to St. George for school, Dixie State and Rebelettes was my plan for the next year at least. At first I hated it, not having any friends and living in the basement of some family members, I wanted to go home so bad. Well after a few football games and some cool adventures with the rebs I decided that I LOVED ST. GEORGE. School, the warm weather, the smaller school atmosphere made it so you knew a lot of people, and town pride. Well after the fun year on Rebelettes I felt that I was missing a lot at home in Draper and I was thinking I wanted to move home after the fall semester of 2008. SO I DID...
WHAT WAS I THINKING?
I miss that town so much and now I am at UVU that does not have any of the same traits as Dixie State. Although I am living back at home and having some genuine family time I am feeling "home sick"... for St. George that is. I miss it and maybe one day will go back!
