Waking up in Vegas...

This last weekend (Father's Day Weekend) I went down to St. George with my family, we seem to make it a regular visit. Well every-time I go down there I make it a point to see Katie Reed, my favorite ex-roommate. She was the one person i knew I was going to miss when i moved home to Draper last December because when she moved to St. George last August we were inseparable!
Back to the weekend... We drove down there after work on Friday, getting us there around 8ish. , the second I got in to the city I called Katie and went over to her condo. We watched Degrassi because Katie is now obsessed with it and I used to love it a ton when I was in like 9th grade so I thought why not have a flashback? haha it was a lot of fun.
The next morning we got up around 9 and made ourselves so pretty ;-) haha then we got in Michael Angelo (Katie's White car) and drove all the way to VEGAS! We were so excited
because we had been planning to go for a few days and wanted to get some major shoppin in. We definitely did some shopping and then some. When 5 rolled around we were hungry and decided to eat at this place in New York New York, an Italian restaurant. We were sitting there talking and waiting for our food when all of a sudden some cute men walked by our table with huge smiles on their faces. We smiled back to them and then they were instantly at our table. haha they were telling us that there was a party in their room tonight and we needed to be there, room 2307; Just minutes before that our waiter had told us that the 4 number rooms are penthouses. We were like, Oh wow you guys are staying in a penthouse and proceeded to talk to them. In the midst of all this talking Katie asked for them to pay for our meal, of course she opened her mouth, but hey they agreed and we got our $40 ticket paid for in full including tip. It was great. We also found out these attractive men we were speaking with were semi-pro
hockey players and anyone that knows me well enough knows that hockey players in my eyes are so attractive; it's mostly because of the sport. haha
So through this whole trip not only were we so happy because we were shopping but then our meals got paid for. IT WAS A GREAT TIME...

This was Katie and I waiting at a light.. WITH OUR AWESOME NEW SHADES!!

Not only was this a great weekend but then after work today i come home and make yummy pasta for Carlye and I to have for lunch. We both help each other very much in many ways. I sure do love her!
