A BUSY FEW WEEKS

I realize that I am the worst of all bloggers, I am the one that is always insisting people to update their blog but I am never the one to add new pics of my own or blog... So here it is, first time in more than two weeks, but OH will it be an eventful one...

So I took a trip to layton a few Fridays ago to judge the Layton Lan Scelle Try outs and got a little extra time to hang out with my right hand man (Woman)! it was fun, we went to our favorite place to eat Jimmy Johns and then went to Target.  Seriously, when I lived in St. George those were the two places you could find us if we were nowhere to be fond at Rebel or in the Computer Center.  it was fun.  I miss living there so much.  Seriously going to our regular places reminds me of the great times I had in St Geezy and it makes me want to move back more than anything.

Here are a few pics that refer to us as being totally and utterly CRAZY! haha.. actually you do not know what crazy is until you spend a little time cruisin down the road listening to jams with us!
LOVE YOU KATE

We saw a mirror and had to stop and admire ourselves!

K so that was Friday and now Saturday rolls along... I had to wake up pretty early because it was the Pinnacle Consulting First Biatholon... For those of you that do not know, Pinnacle Consulting happens to be the place where I make my money (JOB) haha.  It was up in Provo Canyon which may I say is absolutely GORGEOUS, not to mention that no matter what time of day the weather is always perfect!  Anyway, we got there about 8:30 Am just in time for some breakfast, then it was on to the races.  First was the 5K.  Now I understand that it is not a long distance but this event was mostly a family event, moms, dads, and kids included.  I did not do ver well, but the thing is, I didn't run very much (I hate running), but despite the fact that I hate running it was a gorgeous place to be and I didn't want to waste it fists clenched and running trying to be the first one in... After the run it was off to the 4 mile bike ride straight up hill.  Now my family may be a biking family, but steep climbs are not my forte, so I got about a mile up and turned right back around with my mom and sister.  You may think that my family is whimpy, but think again!  I have to commend my dad and my 9 year old brother for finishing the WHOLE ENTIRE 4 MILE CLIMB!  he was the youngest person to not only ride the hill but to also finish it!  WE were so proud if the stubborn boy but he did win an Ipod out of it!
Here re some pics of the morning and afternoon..

My mom and I right after the 5K.. GREAT TIMES!

My little brother and dad pulling into the finish line at the top of the bike hill!
I just had to put this up here.. These are little baby Jace's feet (My boss's Grandson)

Now that may be the morning but the night was the most eventful and fun of the whole day and weekend.  My mother's "OVER THE HILL" birthday party.  She had turned 40 on Friday the 15th and I was determined to celebrate it for her, with al of her friends!  It was so much fun and so worth the stress!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA, I LOVE YOU!

A week later (Finally), it was time for my little sister Kylee to graduate from high school.  It was great, she was the 8th class to graduate form Juan Diego Catholic High School! CLASS OF '09!  it is crazy how time flies.  It seems like just yesterday we were little girls in the backyard playing make believe and now I am two years into my degree and she is off to University of Alabama to play soccer.  The next thing I know my sister Sydney will be graduation from high school.  AHH I do not like growin up!

I hope that you enjoyed my crazy and eventful last two weeks.. I am sure I will be blogging more the next few weeks because A LOT is going on, the biggest thing I am looking forward to is Preston (My BF) is coming home form Boot camp Finally!
So Until next time
